The CCIM Institute held its board of directors meeting and governance meetings in Austin, Texas the week of October 26. And 247 candidates sat for their comprehensive exam, vying for the right to claim the CCIM designation.
Annual elections were conducted at the board meeting. Dave Wilson was named First Vice-President, thus placing him in line as Institute president. Bill Milliken was elected to a 3-year term on the board, beginning January 1, 2016.
The international investment luncheon hosted by the International Activities Committee (IAC) drew 100 guests. Luncheon speakers from South Korea, China, Japan, Canada and Mexico described their markets and where investment opportunities lay. A dozen members of the IAC took advantage of the luncheon to hone plans for their trade mission to Taiwan December 12, 2015.
