Tenant representation is an emerging discipline in the real estate markets, whereby a prospective buyer or tenant can retain Milliken Realty Company to represent them exclusively in the real estate markets.
Tenant representation is a contractual agreement between the Company and a client which provides for the broker’s commission to be paid by the tenant. It is held to be important by some prospective tenants because they feel that it eliminates the prospect of a conflict of interest between the broker and a landlord, and sets forth the broker’s fiduciary responsibility to a tenant.
